WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY BABY CAKE SMASH SESSION
2-3 Months in advance.
Book in advance. The session should take place around 11 months of age. I have found that babies are more smiley and less shy at this age. The closer to the year, the more active and less interested they tend to be.
All you have to bring is baby!

Every little detail will be taken care of for you.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE MY BABY?
Let them play and get MESSY without wiping their hands.
Let your baby have some cupcakes (the little ones the grocery store makes are perfect). Make sure they've been introduced to something sweet as well. Babies don't naturally love sugar and may gag or cry at first taste! (Crazy right?!)

My cakes are very simple AND delicious.
Cake ingredients are, Eggs, Water and Vegetable oil. At around 6' the Perfect size for babies. I love to keep it Simple, white naked cake. This way it combines with every single set up. Sometimes I might add flowers or something that goes with the session theme. Please let me know if baby is allergic to any cake ingredient.

Try as much as possible to always book your session at a time when your baby's naps are not interrupted, this is because sleep is the worst enemy of us baby photographers.

Cake smash sessions should not last more than 45 minutes. Babies tend to get angry and bored quickly, especially if they are hungry or sleepy. 90% of babies do not destroy the cake and do not eat it, so the goal is not to destroy the entire cake, they come here to have fun and create an experience for both.
